Pillow Materials and Care
Each Kiddy Cats Eye pillow is one-of-a-kind unless otherwise stated. Each is archived by serial number. All inquiries after the sale should reference the serial number for maximum efficiency. We strongly recommend you carefully remove the serial number tag attached to your pillow and retain it for your records.
Unless otherwise stated, all pillows are made from vintage and secondhand fabrics, and as such sometimes have minor flaws or discolorations. These are considered part of the character of the fabrics. If you are unhappy with a fabric's
"character," you may return the undamaged pillow for a full refund (see policy below). Vintage and secondhand fabrics may retain allergens, and we cannot be responsible for allergic attacks. Washable fabrics are laundered as we acquire them; however, not all fabrics can be laundered. If you have severe allergies, it's probably inadvisable to bring pillows made from older fabrics into your home. We cannot vouch for the quarters these fabrics occupied before we acquired them. We cannot guarantee our pillows will be allergen-free. All pillows are stuffed with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill.
Each pillow is unique, so duplicates can be custom-made only if original materials are available and are limited to pillows you own. Kiddy Cats Eye will not duplicate any design you do not already own, unless otherwise stated in the description.
Pillows should not be washed. Cleaning should be avoided if at all possible, but if they must be cleaned, they should be dry cleaned by a reputable dry cleaner only.
Product Guarantee
We pride ourselves on our workmanship. Our pillows are well made, with reinforced corners, double or triple- stitched seams on trims, and fusible interfacing on fabrics as necessary for added stability. Our pillows should hold up well under normal use; however, if you should experience a defect in the first year of ownership, contact us and we will repair if possible, or replace with a comparable item if repair is not feasible. Covered defects include open seams, detached buttons or trims, and holes or tears in the fabric that are due to fabrics or workmanship being defective. Problems not covered include damage caused by animals or children or other accidental damage.
Non-warrantied damage may or may not be reparable, but if feasible, repair is available for a fee. Contact us for more information. Most materials are secondhand or vintage, and thus out-of-print and only available in limited quantities. Repair or replacement may be limited by the availability of materials.
Return Policy
Kiddy Cats Eye will refund 100% of the amount for any product returned undamaged within 30 days of the invoice date, for any reason. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. You must pay all shipping fees and insurance on all returns. We will not be responsible for loss or damage to uninsured packages.
You must contact us within 7 days of receipt if reporting damaged or defective products. Please retain packing materials for insurance reasons.
Online Payments
All online payments are processed for us by Foster Enterprises, our secure online payment processor. Your pesonal and credit card information are transmitted securely, and we do not store any of you payment information on our server. The SSL security is provided by Thawte.
PayPal is our preferred payment method for any orders sent outside of the US or Canada. We currently have to calculate freight charges for these orders before we can quote you a price.
Shipping Policy
All domestic orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail and are fully insured. Cost for shipping is $9 per pillow to U.S. destinations, $15 to Canadian destinations. Domestic U.S. orders are usually delivered in 2 to 3 days. Your shipping date will be confirmed by email. Our system is only set up for U.S. and Canadian orders. Please contact us regarding other international orders.
Privacy Policy
Kiddy Cats Eye will not share any of your information. We maintain a mailing/email list for our own limited promotional purposes only. If you do not wish to be included on this list, please let us know when you place your order, or as your preference changes. You can remove yourself from our list at any time on our web site.
